Cyberstud Progressive is a two-part video poker game. The first part is the poker hand itself. Ante's are made and using a deck of 52 cards, 5 cards hands are dealt to the player. One card is dealt to the dealer face up so the player can see one of the dealer’s cards. At this point, the player needs to decide whether to fold or play. If the player folds, the ante is paid to the dealer and the game is done. If the player does play, the bet is placed on the table. This bet needs to be exactly twice the amount of the original ante. Then, the dealer will deal the remaining 4 cards of their hand.
The dealer's hand must hold a King, Ace or higher to qualify for play. If the hand doesn't qualify and the player has placed a bet, then the dealer pushes the player's bet and ante back and adds the ante amount. If the dealer has an eligible hand, the hand with the highest-ranking combination is the winner. If the player beats the dealer, they win the amount equivalent to their ante and the odds payable for their bet. If the player loses, all bets and ante's go to the dealer.
The second part of the game is for a fraction of the progressive dollar amount showed on the screen. One credit is bet involuntarily. A flush or better qualifies for a bonus. A royal flush wins the progressive jackpot.
