Aces and Faces

Aces & Faces is one of the most admired of the Microgaming video poker games. It is based on the standard poker game with no wild cards, but also has the added magnetism of 'four of a kind' combinations. This video poker game pays on many pairs, including Jacks, Queens, Kings and Aces. Two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four Jacks, Queens or Kings, four 2's through 10's, straight flush, and four Aces also earn payouts. The Royal Flush gets the highest payout with 4000 coins. As with most video pokers, the greater the difficulty the higher the payout.

The deal gives the player 5 cards face up and they choose to hold or discard them in order to construct the highest winning hand. Players can bet 1 to 5 coins per hand but the max bet earns the highest payout with a win. A Royal Flush with one coin will pay 500 but a Royal Flush on the max coin bet (5) pays 4000 coins.

Double Up is another choice given to players on most video poker games when they win. The opportunity is there to double the winnings, but there is a reason that many people call this a sucker bet.
