Aces and Eights and 3 Card Poker Gold Series
Here are two exciting video poker games from the gaming masterminds at Microgaming.
Aces and Eights. When the player clicks 'deal' in Aces & Eights, the game begins and they are dealt 5 cards face up from a 52-card deck. As many cards as the player wants can be held or discarded. When the player clicks 'draw', the cards are traded for new ones from the same deck. There are no wild cards in this game. Instead, high payouts are set for three unique combinations:
Four of a kind - Aces & Eights
Four of a kind - Sevens
Four of a kind - All Others
The player is rewarded with a elevated payout for these special combinations but the highest disbursement of 4000 coins is for a Royal Flush. The minimum bet must b 1 coin and the maximum bet is 5 coins. The coins range from 1 cent to 5 dollars depending on the online casino. This is an entertaining game that can give a strong boost to the player’s confidence. However, some players get too caught up in chasing the Aces and Eights. Almost every video poker game offers players the chance of doubling their win. This is a risky move, because all of the player’s winning could be lost on what amounts basically to a coin toss.
The Gold Series has added 3 Card Video Poker to their catalog of table games. The graphics and sounds provided by Microgaming make playing any games in the Gold Series an enjoyable experience. The rules to this game are essentially the same as the regular 3 Card Poker game so players won’t have to learn any additional regulations or changes. 3 Card Poker is really two games in one and players have the option of playing both, one or the other. The two main games are called Ante and Pair Plus. A typical deck of 52 cards is used.
The Ante Game allows the player to place a 50¢ to $200 bet in the Ante circle. Three cards are then dealt face up and the player chooses whether they are going to play those cards. If the cards are played, an amount equal to your Ante bet also must be placed. The highest hand is victorious but if the dealer does not boast at least a Queen, the hand doesn't qualify and can’t win even if it is the higher-ranking hand. This game also includes bonus payouts. Bonuses are paid for: Straights 1:1, Three of a Kind 4:1, and Straight Flushes 5:1. Players need to remember that the ante bonus payout is not reliant on the value of the dealers hand so that hand can still lose the match up but win the payout.
In Pair Plus, the player is hoping to be dealt a pair or a better 3-card combination. The player places a bet ranging from 50¢ to $200. There are payouts for specific hand combinations in this part of the game which are not dependant on the Dealers cards. Therefore, if the player’s hand has a straight and the dealer's hand is a flush, the player still wins the Pair Plus payout for having a flush. If the player folds, they lose their bet. Winning combinations and their payouts for Pair Plus are as follows: Pair 1:1, Flush 4:1, Straight 6:1, Three of a Kind 30:1, and Straight Flush 40:1.
Whether you are a novice or an experienced pro you are sure to love the new graphic and interface on this game.
